The Canon EOS-1Ds is a digital SLR camera from the Japanese manufacturer Canon , which was launched on the market in autumn 2002. The manufacturer directed them to professional photographers . It is no longer produced.

The camera is equipped with a CMOS sensor with 11.1 megapixels (4,064 × 2,704). IEEE 1394 ( FireWire ) is used as the data interface .
The camera's housing is technically based on the Canon EOS-1V camera model .
