The Canon EOS 450D (in Japan EOS Kiss X2 , in North America EOS Rebel XSi ) is a digital SLR camera from the Japanese manufacturer Canon , which was launched in Germany in April 2008. It is no longer produced.

technical features

The resolution of the CMOS image sensor is 12.2 mega pixel (4272 × 2848). The camera is equipped with the DIGIC III processor for image processing, which enables a color depth of 14 bits per channel for image signal processing . Shooting can be made with up to 3.5 frames per second, wherein the internal buffer memory 6 RAW and 53 Large - JPEG capturing images. The display has a diagonal of 3 inches and offers a resolution of 230,000 pixels.

The camera offers a live image preview, which enables the current recording area to be displayed on the LCD . The exposure methods have been expanded to include spot metering . In addition, pictures taken with the camera can be processed in the device to a limited extent.

As the manufacturer's first camera, the device exclusively uses Secure Digital cards for image storage.
