The Canon EOS 77D (in Japan : EOS 9000D ) is a digital SLR camera from the Japanese manufacturer Canon . It was launched on the market in April 2017 and is available as a single housing and as a kit with the newly introduced EF-S 18-55mm f / 4-5.6 IS STM lens, which is optimized for focusing during video recordings .

The camera uses an 24,2- is megapixels - CMOS - image sensor in APS-C format installed. It also has the following technical features:

- Autofocus : 45 AF cross-type sensors, 27 AF points still active even at f / 8.0
