The EOS 700D (in North America EOS Rebel T5i , in Japan EOS Kiss X7i ) is a digital SLR camera from the Japanese manufacturer Canon , which was launched in April 2013 as the successor to the Canon EOS 650D .
technical features
The camera can record up to five frames / second. The APS-C format image sensor allows recordings up to 18 megapixels (5184 × 3456 pixels). The display can be rotated and swiveled and also offers touchscreen functionality.
The camera also has the following features:
- Image effects can be checked in LiveView before the image is taken.
- The mode dial can be rotated 360 degrees.
- The case surface is relatively rough and easy to grip.
- The kit lens "EF-S 18-55mm f / 3.5-5.6 STM IS" offered with the camera has a modified autofocus mechanism with a stepper motor, which enables low-noise "Movie Servo AF"
