Count Carl Felix Woldemar von Behr (* July 23, 1835 in Behrenhoff ; † June 10, 1906 ibid) was a German manor owner and administrative lawyer in the province of Pomerania . He was a member of the Reichstag for five terms .

Carl FW von Behr came from the line of the noble von Behr family based on Behrenhoff in Western Pomerania . He was the eldest son of Carl Felix Georg von Behr (1804–1838), the first Majoratsherr von Behrenhoff, and Wilhelmine Louise Gustava von Heyden . When his father died in 1838, three years old, he inherited the majorate, which was administered by guardian until he came of age. The guardianship included District Administrator Leopold von Seeckt - Nepzin and Greifswald Mayor Johann Carl Gottfried Paepke .

Carl von Behr attended the Blochmann School of Education in Dresden and then the grammar school in Gotha . He studied law at the Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg and the Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität zu Berlin . In 1856 he became active in the Corps Saxo-Borussia Heidelberg with Wilhelm von Wedel-Piesdorf , Archibald von Gramatzki , Eduard von Rindfleisch and Ernst Baedeker .

After extensive trips through Western Europe, Germany and Italy, he took over the management of his estates in 1859. In addition to the headquarters in Behrenhoff, he also owned the manors Dargezin , Fritzow , Kammin , Müssow and Hof II in Dargelin . In 1863 he acquired the Hinrichshagen-Hof manor. The following year he left the Hohenmühle manor, acquired in 1864, to his cousin Felix von Behr on a bandelin. In 1877 he received the Prussian count title , linked to the renewed that year Fideikommiss . In 1883 he acquired the Karbow estate .

From 1873 to 1881 and from 1886 to 1893 he was a member of the Prussian House of Representatives for the Reich and Free Conservative Party . From 1876 he was a member of the Provincial Parliament of the Province of Pomerania . From 1878 to 1881 he was a member of the Reichstag for the first time . In the years 1881 to 1895 (according to other information 1905) he was district administrator in the Greifswald district . In 1883 he was re-elected to the Reichstag, to which he belonged until 1893. In the years 1892 and 1893 he was a member of the Stock Exchange Quete Commission . In 1895 he became a member of the Prussian manor house .

Graf Behr was a co-founder and board member of the Pan-German Association .

He was married to Karoline Freiin von Krassow on Divitz and had eight children with her. His eldest son Carl Friedrich Felix von Behr , called Charly, was the second count after him. His daughter Hedda (* 1866) married Hugo von Marck .
