Caterina Czepek (* 1961 ) is an Austrian costume designer .

Life

Caterina Czepek studied theater studies and costume design. She received training in pattern design and pattern technology at the Instituto Callegari Treviso . Since 1988 she has been a freelance costume designer for film and television, theater, opera and dance. She has worked at the Rabenhof Theater , the Reichenau Festival , the Ensemble Theater Wien , the Theater der Jugend and the Theater zum Fear , among others . She was assistant to Jacques Reynaud , Frida Parmeggiani , Renato Andretta, Uli Fessler and Babsi Langbein.

She is a member of the Academy of Austrian Films , the Association of Austrian Film Outfitters (VÖF) and the European Film Academy (EFA). In 2011 she was awarded the Austrian Film Prize for Mahler on the couch by Felix and Percy Adlon in the category Best Costume Design , and in 2017 for Maikäfer flieg by Mirjam Unger .
