Cesare Moretti sr. (Born April 20, 1885 in Pegognaga ; † in the United States) was an Italian track cyclist .

Cesare Moretti was a professional racing driver from 1907 to 1913 and from 1919 to 1930. During these years he was six times Italian sprint champion after winning the 1910 title among the amateurs . In 1926 he started at the World Railroad Championships in Milan and was runner-up in the sprint world championship. He was also on the podium at numerous “Grand Prix”. Here his most significant success was the victory at the Angers Grand Prix in 1910. In 1930 he resigned from active sports. Moretti was a businessman by profession.

Cesare Moretti sr. was the father of Cesare Moretti jr. who was mainly active as a cyclist in six-day races.
