Umberto Ferrari

Umberto Ferrari (born July 9, 1877 in Roverbella ; † August 6, 1960 there ) was an Italian track cyclist .

In 1901 Umberto Ferrari became the Italian sprint champion . In the same year he took third place at the Copenhagen Grand Prix , behind Thorvald Ellegaard and Willy Arend . In 1905 he was third in the Italian Sprint Championship. He competed three times at the UCI track world championships .

In his hometown Roverbella, the sports field was named after Ferrari.
