Gian Ferdinando Tomaselli
Gian Ferdinando Tomaselli , also Tommaselli , (born April 29, 1876 in Salò , † July 15, 1944 Selvino ) was an Italian track cyclist .
In 1897 and 1899 Gian Ferdinando Tomaselli became Italian sprint champion . In 1899 he also won the renowned sprint races Grand Prix de l'UVF and the Grand Prix de Paris . In 1900 he started at the Olympic Games in Paris in the professional team competition Grande Course de Nations over 1500 meters (in the form of a points run ) and finished third with Pietro Bixio and Giuseppe Singrossi , which was endowed with 3000 francs.
At the UCI track world championships in Paris in 1900 , Tomaselli and the Dutchman Harrie Meyers were world champions on the "two-seater".
