The Communauté de communes du Limouxin (before 2017) is a former French community association with the legal form of a Communauté de communes in the Aude department in the Occitania region . It was founded on May 30, 2013 and comprised 54 parishes. The administrative seat was in Limoux .

Historical development

The community association was created in 2014 through the merger of the predecessor organizations Communauté de communes du Limouxin et du Saint-Hilairois , Communauté de communes du Coteaux de Razès and Communauté de communes du Razès Malpère .

With effect from January 1, 2017, the community association merged with the Communauté de communes du Pays de Couiza and thus formed the successor organization Communauté de communes du Limouxin . Despite having the same name as the previous organization, it is a start-up with a different legal personality.
