At the church
Place view
  • The Protestant church stands on a hill, designed as a hall church and built in 1785. It is surrounded by a small cemetery with the memorial to the fallen on the church wall. The baptismal font with coat of arms from 1605 comes from the previous church, which was burned down.
  • On the Höhn are the remains of the medieval Fischburg, which partly fell victim to the quarry operations on the western flank of the mountain.
  • There is an old, two-arched stone bridge on the Felda.
  • One of the Diedorf residents' favorite places is the pond at Mühlrain, east of the Feldabrücke. There are four ponds there, the two upper ones have been designated as wetlands.
  • An attempt was started by an association to settle the soay sheep in the region. An information board at the pond provides information about this nature conservation project, which is intended to preserve the hat industry and cultural landscape in the Rhön.
  • In the local area there are several listed half-timbered buildings, a newly built fountain is in the center of the village.
  • Structural remains of the former Feldabahn can be found east of the village. One of them is the former Diedorf / Fischbach stop, now a residential building.
