history

Dobrkov was first mentioned in documents in 1349 as the property of the Podlažice monastery . After the end of the Hussite Wars and the collapse of the monastery property, Dobrkov became part of the Chrast estate . After the battle of the White Mountain , the rule was taken from the property of Margareta. Slavata von Chlum and Koschumberg , b. Smiřický from Smiřice confiscated and placed under the royal chamber. This sent a military department to Dobrkov to enforce the recatholization of the Protestant residents by force. From the Berní rula of 1654 it emerges that after the Thirty Years War the village consisted of only two farmers and four Chalupners ; the manor and a farm were desolate. In 1656 King Ferdinand III bought. the reigns of Chrast and Auřetitz returned for 88,000 guilders from Anna Eusebia von Harrach as a founding endowment for the newly established diocese of Königgrätz . At the end of the 18th century there were 26 houses in Dobrkov. In the years 1833-1835 the chapel was built on the lower village square.

In 1835 the village of Dobrkow , located in the Chrudim district , consisted of 33 houses in which 190 people lived. The parish was Lusche . Until the middle of the 19th century, Dobrkow remained subordinate to Chrast.

After the abolition of patrimonial Dobrkov formed a district of the municipality Radim in the judicial district of Chrudim from 1849 . From 1868 Dobrkov with Podhůrka became a separate municipality in the political district of Chrudim . In 1869 Dobrkov had 246 inhabitants and consisted of 37 houses. The volunteer fire brigade was founded in 1885 and existed until the second half of the 20th century. In 1890, 236 people lived in 38 houses in Dobrkov, six of them with 37 inhabitants were in the Podhůrka district. Electrification of the community began in 1919. In the 20th century the Podhůrka Rotte was renamed Podhora. In 1930 Dobrkov had 194 inhabitants. On April 30, 1976 it was incorporated into Luže. In the 2001 census, 74 people lived in the 38 houses in Dobrkov.
