Don't Stop (Funkin '4 Jamaica) is a song by the American singer Mariah Carey in a duet with the American rapper Mystikal . The song was written by Carey, DJ Clue , Duro and Mystikal and produced by the former three. It appeared on Carey's music album Glitter (2001). The song uses a sample from the 1980 song Funkin 'for Jamaica (NY) . Mystikal raps about wild times, while Carey tells him, “don't stop”. The song was released on December 10, 2001 as the third single on the album.

Like the previous singles (with the exception of Loverboy ), Don't Stop (Funkin '4 Jamaica) was a commercial failure. It missed the American Billboard Hot 100 . The song reached the top 40 in Australia and the UK .

The music video was broadcast very often by MTV , so Carey reached at least a commercial high point with the music video. The music video was directed by Sanaa Hamri, where Carey and Mystikal present their "southern style" with their clothes and hair. Don't Stop (Funkin '4 Jamaica) appears in a scene in the movie Glitter when producer Julian "Dice" Black meets Billie Frank (played by Carey) and goes to a club with her where she's " hip-hop" "Listen to music and rap.
