action

After defeating Cell , the richest man in the world, Excess Money, organized a martial arts tournament as a birthday present for his son. The best fighters in the world take part in the tournament, including friends Gohan, Kuririn, Trunks, Yamcha, Piccolo and Tenshinhan. The opponents of the winners from the preliminary round are said to be four alien fighters from four different galaxies. The winner of the tournament not only receives a very high prize money, but also that he can challenge the champion and alleged hero in the fight against Cell, Mister Satan.

Gohan, Trunks, Kuririn and a sumo wrestler win the preliminary round and are brought to the fights in four different virtual combat zones, which the audience can follow on screens. All four face unexpectedly strong opponents who don't seem to be the ones announced. The sumo wrestler is defeated by his opponent and Gohan, Trunks and Kuririn are now facing four demons in a different scene.

Son Goku, who died in the fight against Cell, learns from Master Kaio in the afterlife that one of the opponents, Bojack, wanted to destroy one Milky Way after the other and was finally imprisoned at the end of the Milky Way by the Kaios of the north, south, east and west. After Goku destroyed Master Kaio's planet in the fight against Cell, the seal behind which Bojack was banished was broken and he and his followers came to earth.

Finally, Tenshinhan and Yamcha also intervene, but are defeated, as are Trunks and Piccolo and Vegeta, who arrive later. Mister Satan also reaches the scene, albeit involuntarily, and with his arrival saves Gohan briefly from Bojack. Son-Goku and Master Kaio follow the events on earth in the afterlife and when Bojack wants to kill Son-Gohan, the deceased Son-Goku returns to earth with the technique of momentary teleportation and frees the unconscious Son-Gohan from Bojack's clutches. Son Goku implores his son to develop his true power and protect the earth. After Gohan regains consciousness, he turns into a two-time Super Saiyan and destroys Bojack.
