The 2005/06 season of the Austrian National Ice Hockey League was played with nine clubs. The defending champion was EK Zell am See , which however lost its championship to EHC Lustenau .

mode

The nine teams played a round trip in the regular season, after which the points were halved. After another round-trip round, the eight best clubs qualified for the quarter-finals. The participants were the same as in the previous season, only the "farm team" of the bankrupt Linzers no longer took part.

  • Semi-finals (best-of-five): March 14th to March 28th, 2006
