Esanatoglia is an Italian commune ( comune ) with 1930 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the province of Macerata in Marche . The municipality is located about 34 kilometers west of Macerata on the Esino , borders directly on the province of Ancona and belongs to the Comunità montana Alte Valli del Potenza e Esino .

history

The community area was settled early. In 1211 the city of Aesa was ruled by the Malcavalca family. The former parishes of Aesa and Anatolia were merged in 1862.
