Ussita is a municipality ( comune ) in the province of Macerata in the region Marche in Italy . It has 390 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019). Ussita is located about 47 kilometers southwest of Macerata in the Monti Sibillini National Park on the river of the same name, belongs to the Comunità montana di Camerino and borders directly on the province of Fermo . The administrative center of the municipality is located in the district of Fluminata .

The village was largely destroyed in an earthquake on October 30, 2016.
