history

The "Ur-Füllersdorf" was probably about 1 km east of the current location. There is a circular moat , the outlines of which can still be seen today: it is called the Lange Ries . Nothing is known about the exact origin of the place itself. The first documentary mention is 1419 as "Vigleinsdorff", that means village of Vikili , an old high German personal name.

As early as the 16th century, the village belonged to the Weyerburg rulership , which from 1714 belonged to the Schönborn family. In the revolutionary year of 1848 , Füllersdorf gained its freedom from manorial rule. The village of Steinabrunn has been separate and independent since 1919 .
