Florent Muslija (born July 6, 1998 in Achern ) is a Kosovar - German football player who is currently under contract with Hannover 96 .
Career
society
Muslija moved from his parent club, SV Sasbach, to the youth department of Karlsruher SC at an early age . There he went through the U-17 and U-19. On May 21, 2017 he celebrated his professional debut in the second Bundesliga in the 1: 2 away defeat at Eintracht Braunschweig on matchday 34 of the 2016/17 season when he came on for Kai Luibrand in the 70th minute of play . After KSC's relegation to the 3rd division, Muslija, who was considered a great talent in attacking midfield, signed a professional contract in May 2017 that will run until 2019. In November 2017 he extended his contract prematurely until 2021. When he won at home against SpVgg Unterhaching on January 20, 2018, Muslija scored his first professional goal for KSC in stoppage time with the final score of 3-1. With the KSC he reached the promotion relegation at the end of the season, but failed in the FC Erzgebirge Aue .
On August 31, 2018, Muslija moved to the Bundesliga for Hannover 96 . He signed a contract with a term until June 30, 2022. There he made his Bundesliga debut on September 30, 2018 (6th matchday) in the 1: 4 defeat against Eintracht Frankfurt , when he played for Julian Korb in the 69th minute was substituted on and scored his first Bundesliga goal in the same game. At the end of the season he was relegated to the second division with Hanover.
National team
Muslija played five international matches in the German U20 national team between September and November 2018 , in which he scored a goal.
In June 2019 Muslija decided to play for the Kosovar national team. He made his debut for this in September 2019 when he came on for Edon Zhegrova in the 56th minute of the European Championship qualification against the Czech Republic .
