Simon Fabio Stehle (born September 17, 2001 in Valladolid , Spain ) is a German football player . The winger is under contract with Hannover 96 .

Career

Stehle was born in Valladolid , Spain , and grew up in Gran Canaria . In 2017, after he had also played for Atlético Madrid , he moved from the youth of the Levante UD to Germany to the Hannover 96 youth academy . For the A-Juniors Bundesliga season 2018/19, the attacker, who can be used on both wings, moved up to the U19 Hanover and was able to score three goals in 20 games of the season and prepare five more. In the following season , however, Stehle scored 14 goals and four assists as a temporary team captain in the first half of the season , after which he was used for the first time in the Regionalliga Nord in November 2019 .

Under head coach Kenan Kocak , Stehle was able to travel to the winter training camp for the pros in January 2020 and subsequently continue to train with the first men's team. On matchday 21 he was in the squad of the second division team after injuries to strikers Hendrik Weydandt and John Guidetti . In the away win against SpVgg Greuther Fürth , the winger scored after being substituted for the final phase in the 6th minute of stoppage time to make it 3-1. In mid-February 2020, Stehle received a professional contract in Hanover that was valid until June 2022.
