Frank Carey Archibald (born December 31, 1857 in Exeter , New Hampshire , † April 9, 1935 in Manchester , Vermont ) was an American lawyer and politician who was Vermont Attorney General from 1919 to 1925 .

Life

Frank Carey Archibald was born in Exeter, New Hampshire to Thomas H. and Susan W. Archibald. He attended Middlebury High School and the Vermont Academy. He was admitted to the bar in 1886. He then had a law firm in Manchester together with Joseph G. Martin until 1897, after which he continued to run the firm alone. Archibald was District Attorney for Bennington County from 1892 to 1894 . As a member of the Republican Party of Vermont , he had a seat in the Vermont House of Representatives from 1904 to 1906 and was in the Vermont Senate from 1910 . Archibald was a Freemason .

Frank C. Archibald died on April 9, 1935. His grave is in Greenwood Cemetery in Bristol , Vermont.
