Frank Whaley
Francis Joseph "Frank" Whaley (born July 20, 1963 in New York ) is an American actor and director .
Career
His two most famous films were directed by Oliver Stone . Born on July 4th, tells the true story of Ron Kovic, who returns from the war in a wheelchair. Frank Whaley plays Ron Kovic's brother alongside Tom Cruise . He took another well-known role in the 1991 film The Doors , in which he played guitarist Robby Krieger . In 1992 he portrayed the murderer of the unionist James Hoffa in Jimmy Hoffa .
In 1994 he had a brief but incisive appearance in Quentin Tarantino's film Pulp Fiction , in which he was shot as crook Brett by the killers Vincent Vega ( John Travolta ) and Jules Winfield ( Samuel L. Jackson ) after Jules had previously published his supposed Bible - Quote Ezekiel 25:17 speaks. That same year, Whaley starred as an aspiring film graduate Guy on the side of Kevin Spacey and Michelle Forbes in the tragic comedy Under Sharks in Hollywood .
Frank Whaley can also be seen on television, he starred in seven episodes of the series Dead Zone from 2003 to 2004 . In 2007 he was seen as a seedy manager in the motel horror flick . In 2013 he played the role of Van Miller in the television series Ray Donovan .
In 1999 he made his debut as a director with the drama Joe the King . For this, as well as for his other films as a director, he also wrote the script. In 2001 he directed the film The Jimmy Show ; In 2007 New York City Serenade was created.
Private life
Whaley has been married to actress and writer Heather Bucha since 2001 . The marriage had two children.
