The bayernliga 1992/93 was the 15th season of the Bavarian Soccer Association conducted Bayernliga as amateur league . The master of the Bavarian League played similarly to previous years in the promotion round against the champions of the other top leagues for the promotion to the 2. Bundesliga , while the runner-up to participate in the Amateur Championship was justified. TSV 1860 Munich, who had been relegated from the 2nd Bundesliga in the previous year, qualified from the Bayern League for the 1993 promotion round , in which Munich finally achieved promotion again . TSV Eching , VfL Frohnlach , who had only been promoted from the regional league last year, and SpVgg Weiden and 1. SC Bamberg were relegated to the subordinate leagues , while FC Gundelfingen , SpVgg Plattling , VfB Helmbrechts and Wacker Burghausen were relegated to the following season in 1993 / 94 were promoted to the Bayern League. The ascent from 1860 Munich to the second division was offset by the simultaneous relegation of SpVgg Unterhaching from the second division, so that the next season of the Bayern League was carried out with 17 teams.
