Fuchsmühle is a district of the large district town of Rothenburg ob der Tauber in the Ansbach district in Middle Franconia .
geography
The wasteland lies on the Tauber . Approx. The Bismarck monument is 300 meters to the west. A communal road leads to Kaiserstuhl (0.2 km southwest) or to state road 1020 at Bronnenmühle (0.6 km north).
history
The mill was first mentioned in a document in 1447.
With the community edict (early 19th century), the place was assigned to the tax district and the municipal community of Rothenburg ob der Tauber.
With a short interruption, the Fuchsmühle was in operation from 1989 to 2010 without interruption. Today it is used to generate electricity. Since 1999 there has been a guest house with a café in the mill.

- Taubertalweg 101, 103 a / c: Fuchsmühle, main building with interior with longitudinal beams, 15./16. Century; Outbuilding from 1832. Large parts of the mill technology have been preserved, e.g. B. the gearbox from around 1900, six roller mills, a stone grinding gear and several plansifters.
