history

From the place-name broadcast - winds , one can conclude that the place is one of the Wendish settlements that were planned by the authorities in large numbers in the Middle Ages.

In the 16-point report of the Brandenburg-Ansbach Oberamt Colmberg from 1681, a subject family had the Kastenamt Colmberg as the landlord in Herrnbergen . The remaining properties were subordinate to the Insingen caste office and the imperial city of Rothenburg . The imperial city of Rothenburg exercised the high court .

In 1800 there were eight subject families in Herrnzüge, five of which were subject to the imperial city of Rothenburg and three to Ansbach. With the community edict (early 19th century), the place was assigned to the Lohr tax district and the Bettenfeld rural community . In the course of the territorial reform (May 1, 1978), Herrnhaben was incorporated into Rothenburg.
