Görlsdorf is a district of the city of Luckau in the south of the Brandenburg district of Dahme-Spreewald .

location

The place Görlsdorf located in the Lower Lausitz in the conservation area Crinnitz-Lusatian border wall . Neighboring towns are Frankendorf and Freesdorf in the north, Egsdorf in the northeast, Garrenchen and Schlabendorf am See in the east, Beesdau (to Heideblick ) in the south, Goßmar (to Heideblick) in the west and the city of Luckau in the northwest. The district road 6129 runs through the village.

The inhabited districts of Frankendorf and Garrenchen as well as the Wanninchen residential area belong to Görlsdorf .

history

Gutshof Görlsdorf

Görlsdorf was first mentioned as Gerlachsdorff in 1475 . Other earlier names of the place were Gerlestorff and Gölißdorff .

The manor Gölißdorff belonged to the von Maltitz family before 1600 and to the von Woltersdorf family from 1623 to 1639. After an inheritance, the manor belonged to the von Stammer family until 1890. She sold the estate in 1890, the last known owner of the estate was Elisabeth Kehren. In 1945 parts of the building burned down. The remaining parts of the courtyard are now in private use.

From 1952 Görlsdorf belonged to the Luckau district . After reunification, Görlsdorf and 15 other communities formed the Luckau office from May 25, 1992 to October 25, 2003 . On December 6th, 1993 Görlsdorf came to the newly founded district of Dahme-Spreewald . On October 26, 2003 Görlsdorf was incorporated into Luckau.

Incorporations

On July 1, 1950, the previously independent communities Frankendorf , Garrenchen and Wanninchen were incorporated.
