Grote Prijs Stad Zottegem

The Grote Prijs Stad Zottegem is a Belgian one-day race in road cycling . It is held around the city of Zottegem and its region and is part of the UCI Europe Tour in category 1.1.

In 1934 the competition was called Dokter Tistaertprijs , from 1971 Herinneringsprijs Dokter Tistaert - Prijs Groot-Zottegem . In 1999 it was called GPZottegem - Tilstaertprijs . It has had its current name since 2002. The race will now take place at the end of August.

The record winner is Maurice Blomme from Belgium , who won the race 3 times. The only German winners are David Kopp and René Obst .
