Gautam , actually Herbert Kleinbruckner , b. Herbert Nöldemann (born November 9, 1949 in Dortmund ) is a German sculptor and graphic artist .

Life

Herbert Kleinbruckner completed an apprenticeship as a high- voltage electrician , spent four years in the armed forces as a paratrooper and worked as a driver and electrician in customer service in Bremen . Four years of trade fair construction in Europe followed . After completing his second education , he studied at the University of Fine Arts and Music in Bremen in the plastic department with Waldemar Otto and Bernd Altenstein , in the painting department with P. Schäfer, in the graphics department with H. Müller and at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich Art history.

He had study visits a. in Berlin , Hamburg , Gdansk , Rome , Paris , Prague , Oslo , Florence , Hungary , Krakow , Zakopane , Barcelona and Munich .

He has been working as a freelance artist since mid-1970. From 1984 to 1990 he lived and worked in Landsberg am Lech . Between 1991 and 2010 he lived and worked in Moers , where he was the head of the art school from 1991 to 1993. From 2008 to 2010 he took his second state examination for secondary level two at grammar schools and comprehensive schools. From 2010 to 2015 he was an art teacher at the Johannes-Althusius-Gymnasium in Bad Berleburg . Since 2015 he has been teaching at the Schloss Wittgenstein grammar school in Bad Laasphe .

He continues to work as a graphic artist, especially in the form of linocuts for daily events and small sculptures. He is a member of the board of the Wittgensteiner Kunstgesellschaft (WKG). His style can be assigned to figurative realism .

family

Gautam is married to Christiane Sandkuhl for the fifth time. From his second marriage to Edith Nöldemann, he has a son and two daughters, with his third wife, Maria Kleinbruckner, he has two daughters and, in his current marriage, a stepson.

Gautam was u. a. Participated in exhibitions in Bremen , Bremerhaven , Hanover , Florence, Weißer Turm in Stuttgart, Osnabrück , Moers , Bad Zwischenahn , Weltenburg , Madrid, Braunschweig , Wolfenbüttel , in the Haus der Kunst in Munich, in the Orangery in Hanover and in Bad Berleburg.
