Gelindo Bordin

Gelindo Bordin (born April 2, 1959 in Longare , Vicenza Province ) is a former Italian long-distance runner who won the gold medal in the marathon at the 1988 Olympic Games in Seoul .

• European Championships 1986 in Stuttgart , gold medal
• World Championships 1987 in Rome , bronze medal
• European Championships 1990 in Split , gold medal
• Victory at the Boston Marathon 1990 in 2:08:19 h (personal best)

After the end of his career, he became race director of the Prague Marathon .
