Geneva Carr
Geneva Carr (born May 6, 1971 in Jackson , Mississippi ) is an American film and stage actress.
Carr was born in Jackson, Mississippi, to George and Phyllis Carr. She has two brothers, George Carr II and Joseph Carr. Carr studied French at Mount Holyoke College and embarked on an entrepreneurial career before deciding to become an actress. She studied French in Paris and did her Master of Business Administration at ESCP Europe in Paris. She also studied acting at the Actors Studio .
Carr was nominated for the 2015 Tony Award in the Best Actress category for Hand to God .
Since 2016, Carr has played the role of Marissa Morgan , a psychologist, expert in neurolinguistics and licensed sex therapist in the television series Bull .
