He uses for the realization of extraordinary perspectives and tracking shots

  • the helium zeppelin "CAMBLIMP 40/200/400"

In a previously unprecedented form, scope and quality, with pictures taken exclusively from the air, Georg Riha began to create a comprehensive complete work about Austria from 2014.

With the project  Über Österreich  , from the first broadcasts in 2016-2020 for ORFIII, a comprehensive and diverse portrait of Austria will be created that is timeless and at the same time has a high documentary value. The quality and poetry of the sequence of images, as well as the text and music, play an essential role. At the same time, however, care is also taken to convey geographical knowledge and information. The project takes place every year with a 4-part (The North, The South, The East, The West). “A first exploration” in 2016 was followed by “The second exploration” in 2017, followed by “The third exploration” at Whitsun 2018.
