The judicial district of Bludenz is the local jurisdiction of the district court of Bludenz in the Austrian state of Vorarlberg .

The seat of the district court is in the district capital Bludenz and the judicial district includes the entire political district of Bludenz . It is one of five judicial districts in the state of Vorarlberg. The Feldkirch Regional Court acts as the higher-level court .

The court districts in Vorarlberg were allocated with the ordinance of the federal government of January 19, 1971 on the districts of the district courts located in Vorarlberg in Federal Law Gazette No. 33/1971. The Bludenz judicial district was specified in Section 2.

On September 25, 2015, Justice Minister Wolfgang Brandstetter announced that the District Court of Montafon and thus the associated judicial district of Montafon would be dissolved in 2017. Responsibility therefore passed to the District Court of Bludenz on July 1, 2017, and the municipalities of the Montafon judicial district became part of the Bludenz judicial district. In previous years, these plans had already been drawn up several times and were rejected due to the continuing resistance of the Vorarlberg state government .
