Golden cream puff

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The golden cream puff is a negative award given by the non-profit association foodwatch . It was awarded for the first time in March 2009 and is intended in particular to point out the difference between advertised quality claims and the actual properties of food .

proceedings

Once a year on the Internet, consumers can choose from five nominated products in a four-week voting process which product should receive the golden cream puff. The result will then be announced on the Foodwatch website. In 2009 and 2010 the five products were nominated by a jury. The 2009 jury included TV cook Sarah Wiener , presenter Tobias Schlegl , Spiegel reporter Ullrich Fichtner , author Harald Dzubilla and blogger Andrea Nienhaus. In 2010 the jury consisted of Frank-Markus Barwasser , Astrid Frohloff and Andreas Hoppe, Ullrich Fichtner and Tobias Schlegl. Since 2011 there have only been five candidates and no selection jury.
