history

The place was first mentioned in 1382 as "Halbmansmule" when Arnold von Seckendorff and his brother sold the mill to the Burgraviate of Nuremberg . These gave the mill as a fiefdom to the Nuremberg patrician Geuder . In 1526 it was named "Heybersmühle" after its owner Heyber / Heuber. In 1608 it was owned by the Gumbertus pen . In 1623 it was mentioned as the "Hebreßmühle". In 1732 the "Heberleins Mühl" had the caste office Schwabach as landlord according to the descriptions of the upper office by Johann Georg Vetter . Towards the end of the 18th century, the Hebresmühle belonged to Breitenlohe . The high court exercised the Brandenburg-Ansbach Oberamt Schwabach . The Schwabach caste office was the landlord of the grinding and sawmill. Under the Prussian administration (1792-1806) of the Principality of Ansbach, the Hebresmühle was given house number 1 in the town of Breitenlohe. The mill was operated as an oil mill for a long time. The mill also had fields that were used for growing flax .

In 1808, Hebresmühle was assigned to the Büchenbach tax district , Section I, as part of the municipal edict . It belonged to the rural community Büchenbach formed in 1818 .

In the 1960s, the grinding operation was stopped.
