Helga Raumer

Helga Raumer (born September 29, 1924 in Berlin ; † May 25, 1997 there ) was a German actress .

After an acting training, which Helga Raumer received from 1941 to 1943 in Berlin, she made her debut at the Stadttheater in Luckenwalde . After the war she worked on theaters in Zittau , Frankfurt (Oder) and Halle (Saale), among others . From 1954 she worked at the Maxim-Gorki-Theater in Berlin and at the Berliner Ensemble , in 1969 as a member of the actors' ensemble of the German TV broadcaster , later the GDR television. In addition, she worked on the radio and as a dubbing and radio play speaker. After the actor ensemble of GDR television was disbanded in 1990, she initially worked as a freelancer and retired from professional life in 1992.

Helga Raumer was particularly popular because of her portrayals of understanding, warm-hearted and sometimes energetic female roles. B. Margarete Bach in the three feature films about the Bach family Papa's new girlfriend (1960), Much-beloved Star (1961) and Oh, this youth (1962), the mother in the series From the diary of a minor (1965) and Martha Dolle in the hit series Dolles family album (1969). In addition to these roles, Helga Raumer also played numerous serious characters.

Helga Raumer was married to the equipment manager Albrecht Langenbeck.
