IC 3001 is a spiral galaxy of Hubble type S? in the constellation Great Bear in the north star sky . It is an estimated 367 million light years away from the Milky Way and about 85,000 light years in diameter.

The object was discovered by Stéphane Javelle on June 12, 1896 .
