IC 3018 is a dwarf galaxy of the Hubble type S? with extensive star formation areas in the constellation Coma Berenices in the northern sky . It is around 85 million light years away from the Milky Way and has a diameter of around 15,000 light years. The galaxy is listed as a member of the Virgo galaxy cluster under catalog number VCC 10 .
The galaxies IC 3008 , IC 3017 , IC 3019 , IC 3029 are located in the same area of the sky .
The object was discovered by Royal Harwood Frost on May 7, 1904 .
