IC 3025 is a lenticular dwarf galaxy of the Hubble type S0 / a in the constellation Virgo on the ecliptic . It is estimated to be 18 million light years from the Milky Way and> 5,000 light years in diameter. It is listed as a member of the Virgo galaxy cluster under catalog number VCC 21 .
In the same area of the sky are u. a. the galaxies NGC 4119 , IC 3013 , IC 3037 , IC 3043 .
The object was discovered by Royal Harwood Frost on May 7, 1904 .
