IC 613 is an elliptical galaxy from the Hubble type E0 in Leo on the ecliptic . It is around 430 million light years away from the Milky Way and has a diameter of around 100,000 light years .
In the same area of ​​the sky are u. a. the galaxies NGC 3217 , IC 606 , IC 612 , IC 615 .

The object was discovered by Stéphane Javelle on April 18, 1893 .
