Andrei Ionuț Radu (born May 28, 1997 in Bucharest ), known as Andrei Radu or Ionuț Radu , is a Romanian football goalkeeper who is under contract with Inter Milan and is currently on loan to FC Parma .
Career
society
Radu started playing football for Viitorul Bucharest at the age of 8 . He moved to Steaua Bucharest in 2008 for 12,000 euros and moved to city rivals Dinamo Bucharest three years later . In early 2013 he went to Italy, where he first played for US Pergolettese in 1932 , before being signed by Inter Milan in mid-2013 and playing in the youth team there. He made his debut for the professional team on May 14, 2016 in a 3-1 outward defeat in Serie A against US Sassuolo Calcio . He came on in the 72nd minute for Juan Pablo Carrizo .
On July 15, 2016, he was loaned to the second division team Calcio Avellino SSD for one season. On September 18, he made his Serie B debut for Avellino in a 1-1 draw with FC Venice . Radu ended his loan at Avellino with a total of 24 appearances and 30 goals conceded.
On June 29, 2018, the 21-year-old Radu was loaned to CFC Genoa , a purchase obligation was agreed in the loan agreement. The two clubs had also negotiated a buyback option in the contract. Although Radu was coached by three different coaches throughout the 2018/19 season , he maintained his status as a goalkeeper throughout the season and appeared in 33 league games. After the end of the season, Genoa bought Radu, while Inter pulled the buyback option and immediately loaned him to Genoa for another season.
National team
Radu made his debut for Romania's U21s on June 13, 2017 in a 2-0 away win against Liechtenstein . He represented Romania at the 2019 U-21 European Championship , where his team advanced to the semi-finals.

Personal
Radu had an older sister who died in 2006 at the age of 14. He is the cousin of Andrei Radu , who is also a professional soccer player and with whom he shares the same name.
