Jürgen Lederer
Jürgen Lederer (born October 12, 1943 in Hamburg ) is a German actor and director who worked for many years at the Karl May Games in Bad Segeberg and at the Ohnsorg Theater in Hamburg. Today he and his wife Sabine run the “Free Drama School Hamburg”.
Live and act
Lederer was trained in Hamburg with Eduard Marks at the State University of Music . His motto: “Human play instinct - the primordial cell of the acting!” After that, Lederer worked for over 40 years as an actor, artistic director and director at various state theaters and municipal theaters. He worked temporarily as a lecturer at independent drama schools in Hamburg. He is the director of the now state-recognized Free Drama School in Hamburg.

Engagement in Bad Segeberg
As an actor
After Bad Segeberg, Lederer first went to the two- parter Winnetou in 1976 as the villains Rattler and Monk. In 1977 he was Majesty in the two-parter The Black Mustang .
In 1980 director Harry Walther brought him back, this time for the hero role Old Shatterhand in In the Valley of Death . He continued to play this in Unter Vultures - Die Felsengeier (1984), Der Ölprinz (1985) and Halbblut (1986) alongside Walther's successor Klaus-Hagen Latwesen , making him one of the longest performers in the role in Bad Segeberg.
In 1987 he could not be available due to a tour of the Ohnsorg Theater. Latwesen was looking for a young Old Shatterhand to match Winnetou I and Lederer successfully recommended Joshy Peters . In 1988 Jürgen Lederer got a small role as Old Firehand in Pierre Brice ' Winnetou, the Apache .
As artistic director
From 1992 to 1994 Lederer was director of the Karl May Games. During the rehearsals of Old Surehand in 1992 he replaced the unfortunate "Old Shatterhand" Christopher Barker and later in a performance " Pitt Holbers " Hanno Thurau .
