The 2015 Japan Football League was the 17th season of the Japan Football League overall and the second as the fourth-highest division in Japanese football . Sixteen clubs took part in it.
The season began on March 8, 2015 with the first match day of the first half series and ended on December 5, 2015 with the championship second leg of the two half series winners Vanraure Hachinohe and Sony Sendai . Here, the works team of the Sony company prevailed 5-4 on penalties, after the home team ended up 1-0 on both legs.
mode
All clubs met twice in a double round tournament , once at home and once away. In total, one team played 30 games. There were three points for a win; in the case of a draw, each team received one point. Round-trip rounds were evaluated separately, and an overall table was also created to determine the possible promoters and relegators in the J3 League 2016 or the Regional League 2016. All three tables were created according to the following criteria:
- Number of points scored
 - Goal difference
 - Goals scored
 - Results of the games among themselves
 - Decision game or coin toss

For promotion to the J3 League, a team had to have the license for this division and complete within the top four of the overall table. A maximum of two clubs rose.
Should no team make it to the J3 League, the two worst clubs in the overall table relegated to their corresponding regional league; with one or two climbers, the descent decreased accordingly.
Attendees
After the transition season with only fourteen clubs caused by the founding of the J3 League , the team returned to the usual sixteen teams for the 2015 season. Last year's climber Renofa Yamaguchi achieved promotion to the J3 League 2015 by finishing fourth in the overall table and meeting the economic criteria . From the national regional leagues-finals the winner came Nara Club , the second-placed FC Osaka (both from Division 1 of the Kansai - Regional ) and third-placed Ryutsu Keizai Dragons Ryugasaki (from Division 2 of the Kanto -Regionalliga).

Whole season
Possible promoters in the J3 League and relegated to the regional leagues were determined by creating an overall table. Of the three promotion candidates azul Claro Numazu, Kagoshima United and Nara Club, a maximum of two teams came into question, provided they ended up in the top four of the final table and met the economic requirements for the J3 League.
With the rise of Kagoshima United and the withdrawal of SP Kyōto FC at the end of the season, there were no relegated athletes.
