Jesse Heiman (born May 23, 1978 in Newton , Massachusetts ) is an American actor . He gained fame with his appearances as an extra in more than 150 cinema and television productions.

Life

Heiman grew up near Boston and moved to Austin in 1989 . In 2000 he graduated from Texas State University-San Marcos with a bachelor's degree in English . After graduating, he moved to Los Angeles to become an actor.

He began to appear as an extra in numerous movies and television series and was soon able to earn a living with it. He had his first appearance in a Hollywood film in 2001 in the comedy Rat Race - Der nackte Wahnsinn . Appearances in more than 50 films followed, including blockbusters such as American Pie 2 , Spider-Man , Catch Me If You Can or The Social Network , and 100 TV series such as Monk , Glee , Navy CIS and My Name Is Earl . In the course of time Heiman became one of the most sought-after extras in the role of the somewhat chubby nerd in the teenage and student age, which he can still easily fulfill despite his age of over 30 years.

From 2007 to 2010 Heiman played the recurring role of Fernando in 30 episodes of the television series Chuck .

Heiman became better known in March 2011 when the Swedish fan Wilhelm Hempel uploaded a video of his roles on YouTube . This video was viewed almost two million times in the first two months and led to worldwide coverage of the world's best extras according to the video title . On April 11, 2011, he and Oscar winner Jamie Foxx appeared on Jay Leno's Tonight Show . Also in April 2011, the Australian news show Sunday Sunrise invited him to fool around in the background during the show.

In the last Chuck episode on January 27, 2012, he appeared again and had his first speaking role. On February 3, 2013, Heiman was seen kissing intensely and extensively in a commercial for the web host Go Daddy during the Super Bowl half-time break, together with the supermodel Bar Refaeli , which was on social media platforms such as Twitter and Facebook drew extensive discussions.
