Jordan Pierre Ayew (born September 11, 1991 in Marseille , France ) is a Ghanaian football player . The striker plays for Crystal Palace and is active in the Ghanaian national team .

Career

society

Jordan Ayew was born in Marseille in 1991, as his father Abédi Pelé was under contract at Olympique Marseille at that time . Ayew himself began his career in 2000 at Lyon la Duchere . In 2006 he moved to the youth department of Olympique Marseille, where he has been part of the professional squad since 2009. On December 16, 2009 he made his league debut in Ligue 1 and scored 1: 1 in the 2-1 win against FC Lorient . At the end of the season he came on four missions and was able to celebrate the championship with the club.

In the 2013/14 season Ayew was awarded to the league rivals FC Sochaux .

For the 2014/15 season he moved to FC Lorient .

After only one year at Lorient, he was signed by the English club Aston Villa from the Premier League for a transfer fee of 12 million euros and signed a five-year contract there. With Aston Villa, he was relegated from the Premier League in 2016. Ayew moved to Swansea City during the 2016/17 winter break .

National team

Ayew has played for the Ghanaian national team since 2010 . On June 9, 2014, he scored three goals in a friendly against South Korea . In 2014 he was nominated for the Ghanaian squad for the World Cup in Brazil .

Private

Ayew is the son of Abédi Pelé . His father, uncles Kwame and Sola and his brothers André and Ibrahim are all current or former professional footballers. He is a practicing Muslim .
