Luka Milivojević ( Serbian - Cyrillic Лука Миливојевић ; born April 7, 1991 in Kragujevac ) is a Serbian football player . The defensive midfielder is under contract with Crystal Palace and is a senior international .

Career

societies

Milivojević moved in July 2008 from FK Radnički 1923 Kragujevac to FK Rad Belgrade . There he made his debut on August 23, 2008 in the 1: 2 defeat against FK Čukarički in the Serbian SuperLiga . In the 2010/11 season Milivojević developed into a regular player and completed 26 league games. On the first day of the following season he scored two goals in a 3-0 win against FK Metalac and thus his first goal in professional football. In the winter break of 2011/12 Milivojević moved to league rivals FK Red Star Belgrade , with whom he won the national cup competition at the end of the season. At the beginning of the 2013/14 season he was signed by the Belgian first division club RSC Anderlecht . There Milivojević made his debut on September 17, 2013 in the 2-0 defeat against Benfica Lisbon in the Champions League . With Anderlecht he was the last to retire after the group stage . Milivojević won the championship with the club at the end of the season and the Belgian Supercup at the beginning of the new season . He then moved to Olympiacos in the Greek Super League . With the team, Milivojević was champions in the 2014/15 and 2015/16 seasons and won the Greek Cup in 2015 .

Milivojević has been playing for Crystal Palace in the English Premier League since January 2017 .

National team

Milivojević played twice for the Serbian U17 selection at the U17 European Championship in Turkey in May 2008 . For the U19 national team , he played in August 2009 against Bosnia and Herzegovina (2-0) and in April 2010 against Greece (1: 1). On June 2, 2011 Milivojević played in the 0-1 defeat in the friendly against France for the first time in the U21 selection . His only goal in ten appearances for this team he scored on September 2, 2011 in the European Championship qualification against Northern Ireland to the 1-0 final result.

On November 14, 2012 Milivojevic made his debut in a 3-1 win in the friendly against Chile in the senior national team . He scored his first goal on October 6, 2017 in the 3-2 defeat in the World Cup qualifier against Austria . In June 2018, Milivojević was appointed to the Serbian squad for the 2018 World Cup in Russia by national coach Mladen Krstajić . In the tournament, Milivojević came in the first two group games of his team against Costa Rica ( 1: 0 ) and Switzerland ( 1: 2 ) and was eliminated with her as third.
