Kępiec (German Lüdtkenkamp ) is a settlement on the eastern border of the Polish West Pomeranian Voivodeship and belongs to the urban and rural community Polanów ( Pollnow ) in the Powiat Koszaliński ( Köslin district ).

Geographical location

Kępiec is located halfway between the Jezioro Kamienne ( Fireplace Lake ) and the Jezioro Bobięcińskie Wielkie ( Great Papenzin Lake ), half a kilometer north of Małomierz ( Luisenhof ). The place can be reached via Gołogóra ( Breitenberg ) near the voivodship road 205 on the district border with the Powiat Szczecinecki ( Neustettin district ). There is no rail connection.

History

At Lüdtkenkamp it was originally a farmstead that was provided with 8.75 hectares of arable land at the beginning of the 1940s, to which about 5 hectares had been leased by the municipality of Sydow (now in Polish: Żydowo). Lüdtenkamp was a residential area of ​​Sydow and is historically connected to this community. With this municipality Lüdtkenkamp belonged to the district of Schlawe in the administrative district of Köslin of the Prussian province of Pomerania until 1945 . The last housekeeper on Lüdtkenkamp was Wilhelm Rojahn .

Before 1945, the majority Protestant population of Lüdtkenkamp was assigned to the parish of Sydow (Polish: Żydowo) in the church district of Bublitz (Bobolice) in the church province of Pomerania in the church of the Old Prussian Union . The last German clergyman was Pastor Peter Bultmann .
