Dadzewo ( German Datzow ) is a village in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship in Poland . It belongs to the urban and rural municipality Polanów (Pollnow) in the powiat Koszaliński (Köslin) .
Geographical location
Dadzewo is 6 kilometers west of Polanów, 26 km southeast of Koszalin, south of the voivodeship road 206 Koszalin (Köslin) - Polanów - Miastko (Rummelsburg (Pomerania)) and can be reached via a junction between Nadbór (Nadebahr) and Jacinki (Jatzingen) . Until 1945, Nadebahr was the station on the Köslin – Pollnow small railway line of the Köslin – Belgarder Bahnen .
history
The old knight's seat Datzow belonged to the Pollnower fief of the von Glasenapp family . In 1770 the estate came to Major Bogislaw Lorenz von Lettow, and in 1879 - together with Natzlaff (Nacław) - Carl Freiherr von Senden, who then carried out fundamental renovations, expanded the farm and built the manor house. The last owner on Datzow before 1945 was Max Freiherr von Senden.
The Karlotto Vorwerk (no longer existent today) belonged to the estate , it owned 858 hectares, of which 603 hectares were arable land and 202 hectares were forest.
Datzow was a district of the municipality Jatzingen (Jacinki) until 1945 and thus belonged to the Wendisch Buckow office (1938–45: Buckow (Pom.) , Polish: Bukowo), the registry office Pollnow-Land and the district court district of Pollnow in the Schlawe i district. Pom. in the administrative district of Köslin in the Prussian province of Pomerania . Since 1945 Dadzewo belongs to the Polanów municipality in the Koszaliński powiat of the West Pomeranian Voivodeship .

Until 1945, Datzow belonged to the parish Pollnow in the parish of Schlawe of the Evangelical Church of the Old Prussian Union with mostly Protestant residents .
