history

The reactor is a boiling water reactor with a net electrical output of 63  MWe and a gross output of 65 MWe. Construction began on November 1, 1960; it was synchronized with the power grid for the first time on April 18, 1963, and went into commercial operation on August 1, 1963. The shutdown was on July 2, 1976.
