Laßnitz (often also Carinthian Laßnitz to distinguish it from the neighboring Styrian Laßnitz ) is a village in the Carinthian market town of Metnitz with 65 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2020). The village lies entirely in the territory of the Metnitz Land cadastral community .

location

The village is located on the northern edge of the municipality of Metnitz, on the north side of the Metnitz mountains . It is the northernmost village in the district of Sankt Veit an der Glan , and can only be reached from Styria , which corresponds to a driving distance of almost 20 kilometers from the municipal capital Metnitz .
