Oberhof Schattseite is a village in the Carinthian market town of Metnitz with 64 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2020). The village lies entirely in the territory of the cadastral community Feistritz .

location

The village is located on the western edge of the municipality of Metnitz, on the right side of the Metnitzbach, in the uppermost part of the Metnitz valley .

history

As part of the tax and cadastral municipality of Feistritz, Oberhof Schattseite became part of the municipality of Grades in the course of the reforms after the revolution of 1848/49 . In 1973 the municipalities of Grades and Metnitz were merged, so that today the village belongs to the municipality of Metnitz.
